NAG’s annual Spring Field Walk was held on the 14th August 2024.

The day was well attended by industry and growers, with around 100 showing up visit the multiple paddock sites and enjoy a delicious lunch, catered by the Northampton District Highschool P&C and dinner, catered by Binnu P&C and St Mary’s P&C.

Guest speakers included Peter McNaught from Outback Carbon, Katrina Sasse from NACC, Wayne Parker from DPIRD and Peter Newman from Planfarm. Topics of the day included new varieties, new post em herbicides in canola, resowing canola, challenges with soil amelioration as well as an analysis of benchmarking data from 2023.
